I’m a counsellor with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and extensive experience supporting individuals through a wide range of life challenges. My background in mental-health nursing enriches my understanding of emotional well-being, but my primary focus today is on providing effective, evidence-informed counselling that helps clients heal and grow.
Through JW Counselling, I support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, chronic illness, relationship challenges, major life transitions, grief and loss, stress, burnout, low self-esteem, or identity exploration. In addition to individual therapy sessions offered in person or online, I am trained in psychedelic-assisted therapy and provide guidance around intention setting and post-medicine integration. Whether you’re navigating everyday stressors or processing profound experiences, sessions are tailored to your needs and goals.
Guided by a client-centred, strength-based, and mindfulness-oriented philosophy, I provide a supportive space for exploration and growth. I integrate cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), somatic and mindfulness-based practices, and Hakomi principles to help clients build self-awareness, shift unhelpful patterns, and develop resilience. Together, we create a collaborative path toward healing and meaningful change.
